Fandango Screening Room

UI, Web Design

The Challenge: With a large library of content available, the product and content team wanted to surface curated video clips and photo galleries. Fandango is primarily known as the movie ticketing service where users are directed to a movie page to watch trailers and read reviews. With this screening room, the goal is to have users discover related content to movies they’re searching for.

Role and Process: With the UX team’s wireframes, I translated the designs and worked closely with the developers annotate the comps and provide the correct sizes for player as well as the photo galleries. It was also important to work with the content team to provide them with a character count for descriptions and titles since they were curating the content. Using a dark background, I wanted to have a cinematic feel when users watch the movie clips.
