The Challenge: To promote Fandango’s curated content, the marketing team wanted a dedicated landing page to launch in time for their Valentine’s Day campaign. This landing page would link to movies currently in theaters and also link to favorite romantic comedies with photo and video galleries.
Role and Process: Since this project was sponsored by the rom-com zombie flick, Warm Bodies, I wanted this page to have a feeling that it was ripped out of a teenager’s notebook with handwritten notes scribbled off to the sides and the main content in the center of the paper. I worked closely with the UX designer who wire framed the layout, but made several changes to the design after adding content to the page.
Outcome: The page received about 37k unique visitors during the first week it went live.
